Acceptable Use Policy

MailZiro provides an email classification and filtering service designed to help individuals and organizations manage their inboxes more effectively. This AUP defines the boundaries of acceptable behavior to ensure the Service remains safe, reliable, and beneficial for all users.

You may use the Service to:

• Connect and manage email accounts that you own or are authorized to access;
• Classify and filter incoming emails for personal or business inbox management;
• Create custom rules and sender preferences for your own email accounts;
• Review, restore, or permanently delete filtered emails;
• Access usage statistics, audit logs, and classification history for your accounts;
• Use the API (Enterprise plan) to build internal tools or integrations for your organization;
• Export your data for personal records or migration to another service.

You must NOT use the Service to:

3.1 Unauthorized Access

• Access, monitor, or filter email accounts belonging to others without their explicit authorization;
• Circumvent authentication or authorization mechanisms;
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization.

3.2 Interference with the Service

• Introduce malware, ransomware, viruses, or any malicious code into the Service;
• Conduct denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or other actions designed to disrupt the Service;
• Systematically scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service using automated tools;
• Use the Service in ways that impose unreasonable loads on our infrastructure.

3.3 Illegal or Harmful Activity

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose under applicable local, national, or international law;
• Facilitate spam, phishing, or fraudulent email campaigns;
• Collect, harvest, or process personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws;
• Use the Service in any manner that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights;
• Transmit or store content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or harassing.

3.4 Abuse of Accounts and Resources

• Create multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits;
• Share account credentials with third parties outside your organization;
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation to obtain unauthorized access to features;
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without a written agreement with MailZiro.

3.5 Reverse Engineering

• Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive source code from the Service;
• Extract or replicate our AI models, classification logic, or rule engine;
• Build competing products derived from our Service without authorization.

Enterprise plan subscribers may access the MailZiro API subject to the following additional requirements:

• API access may only be used for authorized internal integration purposes;
• Rate limits apply as documented in our API documentation — excessive calls may be throttled;
• API keys must be kept confidential and not shared publicly (e.g., in public repositories);
• Automated API calls must respect our rate limits and include proper User-Agent headers;
• You are responsible for all API usage under your credentials.

If you believe someone is violating this AUP, or if you have identified a security vulnerability in our Service, please report it immediately:

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities is appreciated and will not result in legal action.

We reserve the right to take the following actions in response to AUP violations, at our sole discretion:

• Issue a warning and request immediate remediation;
• Temporarily suspend access to the Service;
• Permanently terminate the offending account without refund;
• Remove or restrict access to specific features or integrations;
• Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities;
• Pursue legal remedies for damages caused by the violation.

Where feasible, we will provide notice before taking action, unless the violation poses an immediate threat to the security or availability of the Service.

We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
